Functions

The Registrar shall be responsible for the preparation of the annual report of the University for approval of the Vice-Chancellor and the Senate/Board of Management.
The Registrar shall be the custodian of the academic records of the academic semester of the University.
The Registrar shall administer the prescribed provisions for admission, registration and enrolment of students and the continuance of enrolment and maintenance of students’ records.
The Registrar shall be responsible for the maintenance of registers of all degrees and diplomas conferred by the University.
The Registrar shall carry out other duties assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor.
The Registrar shall assist the Vice-Chancellor in all matters of general administration.
The Registrar shall be the officer to sue and be sued on behalf of the University.
The Registrar shall be ex-officio Secretary to the Board of Management/Senate and Faculty.
